The artist, who was born in Reykjavik, brings contradictory movements and forces into a fragile balance. In doing so, she uses a wide variety of materials such as wood, aluminum and steel and combines them to create sculptures, some of which are dance-like. Many of her sculptures can be seen in public spaces in Germany and Iceland. After studying sculpture in Reykjavik, she studied at the Hochschule für Bildende Künter Saar with Professor Wolfgang Nestler.
